Ellen Degeneres gives a few gift for Packers

Even Ellen Degeneres is in the Packer spirit! She aired a clip with a special gift for long time friends Clay Matthews and a pair of underwear for the whole team. The Green Bay Packers are getting a lot of national attention and thats defiantly a good thing for the Pack.

Green Bay Packers depart for Dallas

The Green Bay Packers departed for Dallas, Texas today and should arrive this afternoon. Lets hope the Packers can avoid all distractions that come along with Super Bowl week, and can make this a business trip and come back with what is ours. I heard that to spice up the trip to "Cowboy" country, the team's defensive linemen were all dressed in cowboy boots, cowboy hats and accompanying jackets as they boarded the buses and then the plane. Go Pack Go!!!

My 10 Favorite moments from the Packers 2010/2011 season

When I was compiling my list of favorite moments from the Green Bay Packers 2010/2011 season it was super hard because there are so many. But I narrowed it down and have them listed below.

  1. Packers making the Super Bowl
  2. Packers beating Brett Favre twice
  3. Aaron Rodgers belt celebration
  4. Being at the Packer vs Falcons beat down
  5. Packers got 2 coaches fired
  6. Tramon Willams interception vs the Eagles in the Playoffs
  7. Clay Matthews hair whip
  8. B.J. Raji's interception/dance
  9. KUHHHNNNNNNN
  10. All the Ted Thompson haters can shut their mouths now
I'm hoping to change this list and have a new #1 on this list in about a week. I can't wait for the Super Bowl, going to have a mini party at the apartment with the new 55inch tv and surround. So pumped.

Green Bay Packer's team photo

There has been a little controversy over the Green Bay Packers Super Bowl team picture. 15 players on the injured reserve were not going to be in the original Super Bowl picture, and a few showed their displeasure. Nick Barnett and Jermichael Finely both tweeted about it, and got the attention of many. So as of today all the players on the injured reserve will be in the team photo. I guess if this is the biggest distraction the Packers deal with leading up to the Super Bowl we will take that. Other good news for the Pack is that the Steelers starting center may be out for the Super Bowl. Ticket King Green Bay has been busy all day today buying in Super Bowl tickets.

Green Bay Packers early Super Bowl favorites

The Vegas odd makers have the Green Bay Packers early favorites to win Super Bowl 45. The Pack are 2.5 point favorites. The odd makers must like the Packers as a sexy pick over the veteran Steelers team. The Packers also will be wearing their green home jerseys at the big game. Ticket King Green Bay still has Super Bowl tickets and packages available. Check out our website www.ticketking.com or call us toll free 800-992-7328. I even had to buy myself a new Tramon Williams Super Bowl jersey, that was the only way to get his jersey.

Referee selection for NFC Championship Game

This is not Terry McAulay
As a Green Bay Packer fan I'm not too excited about referee Terry McAulay being chose for the NFC Championship Game. I know all of Packer nation must have had a collective groan when this was announced. McAulay was the same referee that reffed the first game this year between the Pack and Bears. During that game the packers were called for a team record 18 penalties. Below is a list of the Referees and how many penalties called and declined:

  1. Tony Corrente 249
  2. Ed Hochuli 249
  3. Jeff Triplette 242
  4. Carlton Cheffers 237
  5. Jerome Boger 233
  6. Mike Carey 229
  7. Bill Leary 223
  8. Terry McAulay
  9. Gene Sterratore 211
  10. Ron Winter 203
  11. Clete Blakeman 199
  12. Walt Anderson 196
  13. Walt Coleman 187
  14. JOhn Parry 184
  15. Scott Green 183
  16. Al Riveron 182
  17. Pete Morelli 174

Lets just hope these zebras don't ruin the outcome of what could be an awesome game. Call a clean game boys.

Brett Favre says "Packers will win it all"

The odd makers think the Packers are the favorite to win the Super Bowl, and even the great Brett Favre says the same thing. I'm really surprised by this myself but just maybe Favre is starting the mending process with the Packers. Also wanted to let everyone know that being at the Packer at Falcons game was amazing. Here are 10 reason why:
  • The Pack won
  • Electric Atmospehere (early in the game)
  • Falcon fans leaving early
  • Watching Rodgers tear it up
  • Watching Tramon Williams show he belonged in the Pro Bowl
  • All the Packer fans at the game
  • Go Pack GO and Kuhnnnnnn chants
  • Great seats
  • How badly the Pack crushed the Falcons
  • Found $10 on the ground after the game :)
Now bring on Da Bears!!!

NFC Championship Tickets from Ticket King Green Bay | Packers at Bears January 23

The NFC Championship game featuring the Green Bay Packers versus the Chicago Bears is just days away.  After our Packers destroyed the Falcons this past Saturday, they sat and waited for the outcome of the Bears game.  The Seahawks had a tough time at Soldier Field, as the Bears took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back.  The stage is set for an NFC North showdown.

NFC Championship Tickets for Soldier Field

NFC Championship tickets are available right now.  As Soldier Field is a short drive south of Milwaukee, and a three hour trip from Green Bay, we expect to see lots of Cheeseheads in attendance.  Our sales staff is more than happy to find you the Packers tickets you need. (800)334-5434 or (920)405-1000 are the numbers to call.

Which Young QB can pull off Playoff magic?

Last time time Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan went toe to toe, Ryan got the better of Rodgers. Ryan went 24-28 for 197 yards with 1 TD and no picks. On the other hand Rodgers went 26-35 for 344 yards with 1 TD and no picks. The difference is that Ryan's team won the game. The Packers had no running in that contest, but with the emergence of James Starks the Packers could be more balanced on offense. As for Ryan the Packers must make him uncomfortable in the pocket and try and force a turnover. The big key to this rematch is if the Pack can stop Michael Turner. I give A-Rodg the edge and the Packers will eek out a victory and move onto the NFC Championship Game. GO Pack GO!!!!

The Green Bay Packers Defense steps up once again

The Green Bay Packers defense took control of another game and helped the Packers to a victory over the Eagles. The Packers defense held Mike Vick in check for most of the game on Sunday. How fitting was it for the Pack to have Tramon Willams seal the game with an interception. Aaron Rodgers finally got his first playoff victory as well. Also big ups to James Starks for coming into the game and running like a man possessed. The Pack travel back to the Georgia Dome to have a rematch against the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday. I'm lucky enough to be able to go back to the dome for the playoff game for my birthday. I can't wait to get back there and root the Pack on and be taunted by the fans of Atlanta. I will be getting my tickets though Ticket King, and I suggest if you want to go you should do the same.

Green Bay Packers Sign Desmond Bishop to new deal | Resch Center Upcoming Events

  • The Green Bay Packers signed LB Desmond Bishop to a contract extension. The new deal is 4 years $19 million deal. He has stepped up huge when Nick Barnett went out for the season with a injury. What does this mean for Nick Barnett next year??? I think they may move him to outside LB or trade him for something. Either way Bishop has filled in above and beyond what some peeps thought. Also Ticket King Green Bay has a bunch of events coming up at the Resch Center. Up coming events are:
  • Brad Paisley
  • WWE
  • Disney On Ice
  • NCAA Mens Hockey
  • Cirque Du Soleil

The Green Bay Packer's are Packing for the Playoffs

The Green Bay Packers needed a win over their arch rival to make the playoffs and they did just that. The Packer's were down 3-0 at halftime and the Packers came out in the second half and their defense took over the game for them. Ticket King Green Bay wants to congratulate the Packers for a great season!!! The Packers locked up the 6th seed in the NFC and will pack their bags for the Playoffs. For the Packers to make the Super Bowl they will have to win 3 road games. I believe the Packers are going to be a tough out in the playoffs but will have a stiff challenge in stopping Mike Vick. The Packers game will take place next Sunday at Lincoln Field in Philadelphia at 3:30 p.m. on Fox. You can get your tickets from Ticket King to the wild card game. GO Pack GO!
