Green Bay Packers 2010 Opponents

The Full NFL schedule will be released in a few weeks, but I thought I'd share who the Green Bay Packers 2010 opponents will be. Home Games: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, 49ers, Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins. The Packers Away games: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, and the New York Jets. The Pack definitely have some tough road games this coming season and a few home games as well. The Giants and Cowboys and Vikings and Bears will be the good home games to start the season. I can't wait to see what prime time games we get.
Also Ticket King Green Bay has tickets left for Elton John at the Resch Center. Get your tickets before its sold out.

Green Bay Packer's Tailgate Tour

The Green Bay Packers announced that they will be on tour for their fifth tailgate tour, set for May 11-14. They will be traveling to Rhinelander(my hometown), Chippewa Falls, Reedsburg and Milwaukee. Basically they go around to the different cities and give a thanks to the fans and hang out and tailgate. Some of the traveling Packers will be Mark Murphy,Chad Clifton,Nick Collins, James Jones and John Kuhn. I think its pretty neat that some of the players take time out of their busy schedule to give back to the die hard fans. Also Ticket King Green Bay still has tickets available for Elton John.

NFL Changes OT Rules/Martina McBride Tix Below Face

The NFL changed it's format for how overtime is played during the Playoffs. The new rule would ensure both teams will get a chance to possess the ball unless the team that wins the coin toss scores a touchdown. There also are a few other stipulations for OT rules as well. The vote was 28-4 in favor of the new change. The Green Bay Packers Mark Murphy voted in favor of the change. I'm a fan of the change but I believe that they should do the change for the regular season as well, because those games mean just as much to get into the playoffs. Also this Saturday Ticket King Green Bay has a few Martina McBride tickets left below face value.

Elton John is coming to the Resch Center.

Coming to the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI is Elton John!
Elton’s band comprises Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards. One of the most successful live acts on the road today, Elton and his band put on the kind of show you never forget: the entire audience standing, dancing and singing along with much-loved classic songs such as “Your Song”, “Daniel”, “Rocket Man”, “Bennie and the Jets” and many, many more.
Ticket King has all the great tickets to Elton John at the Resch. He is playing on Saturday, April 17th At 8pm. It will be a great night to spend at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Vince Lombardi Movie/Elton John At Resch Center

ESPN films is in the works of making a movie about Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi. Actor Robert De Niro has signed on to play Lombardi in the film. The film will be based on how Lombardi turned around the Green Bay Packers franchise. I think every Packer fan will be pumped to see this film.
Also it has been seven years since Elton John was at the Resch Center, but he will be back Saturday April 17 to preform. Ticket King Green Bay will be well stocked for this event. Everyone is a fan of the Rocket Man!!

Green Bay Packers Add Alternate Third Jersey for 2010

The Green Bay Packers announced that they will be adding a third uniform for the 2010 season. The NFL allows teams a third uniform, following a year-long approval process, that they can use up to three times a season – twice at home and once on the road – for a five-year period. The new uniform consists of a plain navy blue jersey with a gold circle in the middle that contains a blue number, though the circle and number will be enlarged from the 1929 uniform to satisfy NFL guidelines. I wonder which game the Pack will unveil these old school uniforms for.

Chad Clifton Stays/Aaron Kampman Out

The Green Bay Packers had a very busy weekend doing free agency. The good news is the Packers were able to resign LT Chad Clifton to a new contract but lost Aaron Kampman to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Aaron Rodgers will definitely be happy to see Clifton protecting him, but the Packers defense will miss a leader/sack machine in Kampman. All though Kampman didn't seem to fit the new 3-4 scheme the Packers implemented last year, I think the next biggest need is Nick Collins to be paid some big $$$. Also wanted to let all you Rodeo Fans out in Green Bay know we still have a few All-Star Rodeo tickets available for this weekend, and our tickets are below face value.

Brett Favre on Jay Leno

Minnesota Vikings qb Brett Favre was on Jay Leno last night and he still hasn't decided if he will play again next season. He also said he doesn't expect to make an announcment anytime soon. Big surprise, right? Green Bay fans know all too well about Favre and his waffling. Appearing on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” on Thursday night, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback politely demurred when host Jay Leno asked for his thoughts on returning for 2010.
“Well Jay, it’s only been a month, and I know now that I’m just not going to say anything anytime soon, just going to kind of sit back, relax, enjoy the offseason,” Favre said. I personally think Favre will be back next season as qb for the Vikings. Our Green Bay Packers will be ready for him this time. The excitement of seeing #4 in purple has worn off, and our D-line will be gunning for Old Mr. Favre.

Al Harris Recovery

During the off season many fans don't realize what NFL players go through after a season ending injury. Well today I have a great video of Al Harris and his road to recovery. This video shows how tough of a guy the frail Al Harris is. Harris has 2 years remaining on his contract with the Green Bay Packers and he plans to finish up his contract. I hope he makes a speedy recovery because the Packers sure did miss him in the playoffs this past season after Kurt Warner tore apart the Packer defensive secondary.
Now that the weather is getting nice, it is time to get out of the house! Check out the Martina Mcbride concert on March 27 at the Resch Center. We have tickets starting out at $89 which is a steal.
