2010 Donald Driver Softball Charity Game

Now that the weather is becoming beautiful outside, you should plan on going to the Donald Driver softball charity game at the Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute on June 6Th. I personally have gone to this event in the past and it is great to catch some rays, balls, autographs and some early tailgating. Here are some of the rosters set for the game below.

Offense: Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Donald Lee, Jermichael Finley, Matt Flynn, Brandon Jackson, Patrick Williams, Breno Giacomini, Josh Sitton and Bryan Bulaga. Driver’s wife, Betina, will help coach the offense.

Defense: Nick Barnett, Clay Matthews, Mason Crosby, Pat Lee, Brandon Underwood, Trevor Ford, Morgan Burnett, Desmond Bishop, Cyril Obiozor, Brad Jones, Brett Goode, Jarius Wynn and Mike Neal. Al Harris, still rehabbing a knee injury, won’t play but will be on hand.

Lambeau Field Expansion?

The Green Bay Packers are planning on putting together some focus groups to discuss the possibility of the expansion of Lambeau Field. The focus seems to be on the South end zone that they left open after the 2003 renovation. I'd be real curious to see in the next few years if anything comes to fruition. I'm not sure what an expansion would mean for Ticket King, but time will only tell.

Packer Players Change Positions

The Green Bay Packers have moved 5th year starter Will Blackmon from corner back to safety. Blackmon is also a staple on special teams as punt returner and gunner. Blackmon is recovering from a torn acl and should be ready before training camp starts. Also B.J. Raji and Ryan Pickett have swapped positions as well. Pickett will move to left defensive end and Raji will move to inside tackle. The move I think gives the Packers more athleticism in the middle without giving up power and size.

Jermichael Finley Growing Up

When the Green Bay Packers drafted Jermichael Finley in the 2008 NFL draft they knew the young 21 year old from Texas University had the play making ability to be a star in the league, but knew his young age would cause some problems. In his first season he was a cocky young TE thinking he could just skate by with talent and throw teammates under the bus. Well Finley had a rude awaking. Last season Finley's production was off the charts and almost set season single records for the Packers. He still was missing meetings and missing curfew, but his play made up for the mistakes he was making off the fields. This off season Finley vows to be a better player on the field and a great man off the field. Time will only tell if Finley can grow up and show Packer nation he is a changed man. I think Finley has the talent to be the best TE in the game.
Ticket King Green Bay still has a limited amount of seats left for the sold out Chris Daughtry show this Friday at the Resch Center. Call the King at toll free 800-992-7328 to get your tickets before were sold out!

Packers Make Top 5 Fan Base

The Green Bay Packers fans ranked #4 in the NFL fan base. The criteria for this hard core fan base is "any person who will read up on their team in May." May- The deadest month of football news. After the draft and before training camp. Packer fans are defiantly hardcore in my mind. Help make the Pack #1 on this list and show your support this Packer season at Lambeau field.

DROY Revote

Clay Matthews has a chance to be the NFL defensive rookie of the year due to Brian Cushing violating the NFL substance abuse policy. Cushing is eligible to win the award again but will voters take into account that he is suspended four games next season. Matthews finished third in the original vote. I think Matthews has a great shot at winning the award due to his playoff performance.
Ticket King Green Bay has tickets below face value for Larry the Cable Guy for this Sunday's show at the Weidner Center at 7:30.

Greg Jennings on Primetime

Greg Jennnings was on prime time television last night. He made a cameo on Criminal Minds as a lab technician. Jennings: “It was fun, it was fun. I was going in letting them know this is not what I do. I'm on the football field. That's me, that's my domain. But the cast members were great, giving me feedback. They opened their arms and helped me as much as possible and tried to make me look as good as possible." I tuned in and I thought All Day 85 rocked his first cameo appearance. Ticket King Green Bay has tickets to check out Jennnings catching touchdowns at Lambeau field.

Punting Competition in Packerland

The Green Bay Packers have two new punters on their roster going into training camp this year. Neither one has NFL game day experience but coach McCarthy believes they both have more talent than the punters in the past. Tim Masthay was an All-SEC punter at Kentucky and spent time with Indianapolis last year during the preseason. Chris Bryan is a 28-year-old rookie attempting to learn the American game after spending five seasons playing Australian football. I sure hope one of them is better than Jeremy Kapinos last year.
Also now with American Idol coming down to the final Five, Green Bay Ticket King is lucky enough to have two idol past contestants preforming in Green Bay. Chris Daughtry is at the Resch Center May 21, and Kris Allen is at the Meyer Theatre June 6Th. We have tickets to both shows.
