NFL Lockout Latest news

The players and owner's met on Tuesday during mediation and again they said progress is being made. Now we wait till June 3 till the hearing and then June 7 when both sides meet again. A recent poll taken said that 32% blame the owners and 19% the players and 30% undecided. I just hope a deal is made soon so they play football. Ticket King Green Bay would love to see this be resolved.

Retire Favre's Number

President Mark Murphy stated “Eventually, he’ll come back into the fold. We are going to retire his number,” Murphy said to a round of applause. “He deserves that for what he did as a Packer. … There are very few players in our history that had their number retired. He deserves it though. But it’s a very, very meaningful honor and we want to do it at a time when it’s meaningful for both him and the organization. “I think it’s probably going to be a few years. We want to make sure that he’s really retired first. I agree with Mark Murphy that his number should be retired for what he did for the Green Bay Packer organization.

Lambeau Field expansion plans

The Green Bay Packers sent out a survey to their season ticket holders about the expansion of Lambeau Field. The expansion would deal with the South End zone. I personally think more seats can't be a bad idea if they do it right. I do like the Packers sent out a survey to get its fans opinions on this subject, since season ticket holders will probably help foot the bill. Long as the Packers get a better sound system which is in the works this year, Ill be a happy fan. Go Pack GO!!!!

AJ Hawk and small dog???

Pretty slow on the Packer news front these days, but I did find a nice little video of AJ Hawk and his small pooch. One would think a big NFL player would have a mean or big dog, but not Hawk. Hawk has a little chihuahua. Enjoy the video. Go Pack Go!!!

Green Bay Packers Draft Grade

I thought the Green Bay Packers did a pretty good job with their drafts picks this year. If I were to grade the Packers with their picks I would give them a B+ I Really love the first three picks. I think Cobb could be something special for the Pack. Mel Kiper had this to say about the Packers draft:
Mel's grade: B+
Seifert comment: Kiper's only concern was a failure to address the pass rush in a meaningful way. But I think the Packers have confidence in some of the players they drafted last year, defensive ends Mike Neal and C.J. Wilson. And Saturday, defensive coordinator Dom Capers expressed faith in linebackerFrank Zombo. Otherwise, the Packers added two more weapons to their offense (Kentucky receiver Randall Cobb and Hawaii running back Alex Green) and fortified their transition plan at offensive tackle with Mississippi State's Derek Sherrod
