Rush Summerfest Tickets On Sale Now

Rush Summerfest tickets
Summerfest Milwaukee announced that Rush will be performing at the Marcus Amphitheater on July 4.  The Canadian trio of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Pert have been performing their own special brand of "prog" rock for forty years.  On this ride, they are supporting their 2011 effort titled Clockwork Angels.  That would make almost 20 albums for the band.  Rush Summerfest tickets are available now.

Rush is certainly known for their complex musical songs, and their dedicated following.  The band has won a fist full of Juno awards, but no Grammys.  In fact, the group has so many gold and platinum albums, that they probably don't have to make any more new music, just to keep their fans happy.  They could ride on their former glory, but they certainly don't do that. They still feel the urge to create new music.

Rush 2013 Tour Dates

Rush will start their 2013 tour in Austin Texas on April 23.  For most of the spring, the band will be riding the highways of the southern United States.  Once things warm up, they will take a quick trip over to England, Holland, Germany, and Sweden.  They come back to the US on June 21, performing in Hershey PA.  By the time they hit Milwaukee, the will have played over two dozen shows.

Woodson's Packer career may be over

Say it ain't so, Charles Woodson's career with the Packers may be over. It has been reported the Packers will be releasing Woodson to save over $10 million in cap room. The NFL is a business first and relationships second. Woodson is a leader in the locker room and on the field and will be sorely missed he the pack release him. I understand from a football side of things why the Packers are doing this. First saving a ton of cap space to resign younger players and lets face it he is 36 and slowing down and the Packers have a lot of young depth at the corner back position. Now me as a fan thinks this sucks. Woodson is one of my favorite Packer players. I have 2 jerseys of his and a t-shirt saying "See you at the White House" from when they won the Super Bowl a few years ago. Now that Donald Driver is gone and potentially Woodson the Packers are going to have some new voices in the locker room take charge to be leaders of this team. Wish Woodson nothing but the best.

The Midwest Rock n Roll Express 2013 Tour | Resch Center Tickets Green Bay

Styx, Reo Speedwagon and Ted Nugent come Green Bay's Resch Center on May 17. The show starts at 7pm. The Resch Center is happy to bring old school rock to the masses this spring.  Early REO Speedwagon was certainly hard rock, but turned a bit towards the pop and ballad style of music in 1980 with the release of Hi Infidelity. What hit comes to mind when you think of REO? Keep On Loving You is certainly up there in the ranks.

Bob Seger Performs At The Resch Center Green Bay

Following that "hard rock" theme, Bob Seger will bring his own brand of rock to Green Bay on March 7.
Bob Seger is now silver haired, so it's fitting that his "Silver Bullet Band" is coming along for the tour. Songs like Night Moves, Turn The Page, and Ramblin' Gamblin' Man are sure to be among the songs played that evening. Ticket King still has some killer first row Bob Seger tickets available at the time of this post.

Packers Parking Options For Lambeau Field | Ticket King Green Bay On Game Day

Parking Green Bay Packers Day at Ticket King

If you have ever been here in Green Bay on game day, you know that there are thousands of fans looking to park as close to Lambeau Field as they can. After all, the heart of the action is within a few blocks of the stadium.  When the thermometer drops, fans want don't want to walk too far to their car.  Where can you park close to the stadium when you don't have an official parking pass?

Parking Options For Packers Games

You can try your luck with some of the businesses along the main streets that lead to Lambeau Field. If the business owners are smart (and most of them are,) they will have someone collecting parking fees and guiding you into a spot on their property. After all, there are just so many Packers parking spots available in the Lambeau lot, certainly not enough to cover all the cars that come to Green Bay on game day.

  • Try the properties that run between Oneida street and Holmgren way, just southeast of Lambeau Field.
  • Near Potts and Borvan, east of Lambeau are also spots where one can park their car.
  • To the north and west of Lambeau are mostly homes.  Some folks will make room for a few cars, but those spots fill up fast.
  • Further south on Oneida street (roughly one mile from the stadium,) is where many people park in the early months of the season.  It's not so fun walking a mile back to your car when it's below zero, so keep that in mind when you roll into Green Bay in December.
  • Ticket King Green Bay has parking for cars, buses, and tailgaters. Reserved spaces are available for every game, and we won't block you in.  We are just south of Lambeau Field.
One of the great things about seeing a game at Lambeau Field is the fact that the stadium is in a mostly residential neighborhood.  You truly feel like the city of Green Bay has just one thing on their mind on game day.  It's true that the streets are empty at kickoff.  See you in Packers country in 2013!

Donald Driver Retires Today | Packers Fans Will Miss Him

Donald Driver will be announcing his retirement from the NFL today at 11am at Lambeau Field. Its a sad but happy day in Packer land this morning. The Packers all-time leader in receptions and yards will be calling it a career. I personally thought DD was one of the classiest NFL players to put on a jersey. He played the game the right way, he was humble and successful. He also has a Super Bowl ring as well. I remember watching him as a teenager as a skinny little wideout that was tough as nails. Nobody will be able to forget his accomplishments and BIG smile while playing the game. Ticket King wishes him nothing but the best with his next chapter in his life. Will miss you DD.

He holds a number of team records for his position, and it will surely be a while before those are broken.  Will another wide receiver stick around long enough to top Donald?
