Packers On Bye Week

The Packers enter their bye week on a high!!! They dominated the Dallas Cowboys in all facets of the game, and the Cowboys ended up firing their head coach. The Pack enter their bye week at a record of 6-3 and will get a whole week off to rest all of their injured players and regroup for a strong push for the playoffs. The only thing making this bye week a little bitter is that the Packers waived one of my favorites players in Al Harris. The Pack must have thought he couldn't contribute like he did in the past coming off his acl injury. I wish Al the best and hope he doesn't go to a division rival. Also mid season report Clay Matthews should be defensive player of the year. Also Ticket King Green Bay will have WWE tickets go on sale this Saturday at noon.

Tramon Williams Signs Tender

Cornerback Tramon Williams signed his restricted free agent agreement and will be paid $3.168 million this up coming season. If he did not sign his salary would have been reduced a ton and probably would have sat out till he got a new contract. I know the Packers had to have a huge sigh of relief when Williams signed the tender. The Packers now have their number two cornerback back in the starting role while Al Harris recovers from his torn acl. Tramon stepped up big time last season and the Pack need him if they have any shot of making the playoffs this season. Al Harris Recovery

During the off season many fans don't realize what NFL players go through after a season ending injury. Well today I have a great video of Al Harris and his road to recovery. This video shows how tough of a guy the frail Al Harris is. Harris has 2 years remaining on his contract with the Green Bay Packers and he plans to finish up his contract. I hope he makes a speedy recovery because the Packers sure did miss him in the playoffs this past season after Kurt Warner tore apart the Packer defensive secondary.
