Bears 2015 Mock Draft | Ticket King Green Bay

Bears Mock Draft
So far this off season we have been doing mock drafts for the NFC North. Next up, it's the Chicago Bears.  Chicago traded Matt Forte, and kept Jay Cutler on the payroll. Unless, they decide to pay Jay the 10 million guarantee and cut their losses, he’s going to be back in the lineup for 2015. So my mock draft doesn’t include a QB in the first round.

Round One: Danny Shelton/DT/Washington- The Bears so called “three biggest needs” come draft day will be cornerback, safety, and outside linebacker. However their biggest need may be defensive tackle. They played in a division in which they will continue to lose games to teams with great rushing attacks unless they can stop the run. Shelton solves this problem for the Bears.

Round Two: Eli Harold/OLB/Virginia- The Bears need to work on their defense in this draft. That is no secret. Next in line would be their outside linebacker. Harold is an athletic but needs to bulk up. He could still come in and be the day one started, and will be expected to be, if he is drafted here.

Round Three: Anthony Harris/S/Virginia- As we go down the list of defensive needs, next up for the Bears is safety. In fact, Harold's teammate, Anthony Harris, makes perfect sense here. The Bears need to build up that secondary, or they will never be able to beat Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers consistently. Harris is a good start.

Round Four: Steven Nelson/CB/Oregon State- Next up on the list of defensive needs is cornerback. See the reason above as to why. Nelson has a nice build for someone of his size and get can physical with the likes Golden Tate and Jordy Nelson. He lacks ideal size, but we say that about many corners, and that's never stopped a lot of them from having great careers.

Round Five: Kenny Bell/WR/Nebraska- Even though wide receiver isn't really a huge need, the Bears, plain and simply put, should grab one in this deep receiver draft, possibly the deepest in history.

Round Six: Karlos Williams/RB/Florida State- Matt Forte is one of the better runners in the league, but he is not getting any younger. Not saying Williams is the next great Bears back, but he will certainly help.

Round Seven: Brandon Bridge/QB/South Alabama- The Bears need to develop a quarterback. Bridge has skills but played at South Alabama.
